FOR FURTHER MANUFACTURING OR RESEARCH USE. NOT FOR DIAGNOSTIC OR THERAPEUTIC USE.
In order to work with nucleotides such as RNA and DNA and to prevent subsequent degradation due to enzymatic activity, it is necessary to use reagents, including water, that are devoid of all nucleases. Nucleases are naturally occurring enzymes whose role is specifically to cleave nucleotide polymeric molecules such as DNA or RNA at various points. Theoretically, just one molecule of a nuclease could systematically facilitate the destruction of an entire nucleotide sample over time.
